Business Insights Analyst (Pl452)

Our client is a leader in process and productivity improvement through data analytics and has created an unmatched Enterprise SaaS platform to optimize Human Performance in operations such as Call centres, Back Office, and Retail stores. They are experiencing rapid global growth and looking for a proven leader to take their talented development team to the next level and lead the product development and expansion.

By mining and analysing complex data, and reporting directly to the CEO, this integral role will develop world-class reporting that enables data-based business insights. These valuable insights will then be used to offer leadership strategic advice. The key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Design and program queries for extracting information and metrics from data stored in various databases.
• Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end
• Evaluate, innovate, and recommend mathematical and statistical approaches for the improvement of current processes.
• Represent functional area as analytics & insights professional and key resource; build positive and productive working partnerships
• Considered an authority within a given area
• Execute on data requests accurately and within a timely manner
• Apply understanding of respective business strategies to produce relevant and substantial data analysis to support business goals and objectives
• Develop, implement, and maintain statistical models including Distribution Analysis & Forecasting.
• Monitor, investigate, correct, and prevent data quality problems.
• Provides day-to-day support and delivery of analytics
• Provide supporting data and analysis for business case development for various improvement initiatives.
• SQL queries management to extract and position or move data for analysis
• Provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or mentorship to various business and working partners
• Produce insights and recommend business actions to align with strategy and/or solve business problems
• Develop analysis to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities.
• Act as a bridge to translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs for a given domain
• Work independently as the senior analyst/subject matter expert and may coach and educate others
