Travel Consultant responsibilities:


  • Network and promote new travel business and grow your repeat client base;
  • Advising clients on product options and sell travel packages in all product categories including the preparation of complex itineraries using various booking platforms (Apollo; Sirev);
  • Quickly determine specific client needs and source solutions using all tools available;
  • Meet established monthly and yearly sales and revenue targets;
  • Be alert to changing trends; customer needs and be able to adapt the services to the client’s needs even when difficult circumstances arise.


Branch Coordinator responsibilities:


  • Ensure banking is done; Cash deposits, process commission cheques being sent to accounting;
  • Prepare employee schedules ensuing the branch hours are respected;
  • Office operations - Order supplies, brochures, balance petty cash and marketing displays;
  • Oversee compliance with support of the Regional Manager, if necessary;
  • Scan supplier invoices payable by head office and send them by e-mail.
  • Monitor office maintenance is updated as required;


Qualifications


What you will bring to our team:


  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience within a retail travel environment;
  • Must have your TICO certification
  • Advanced communication skills combined with an outgoing and energetic nature;
  • Ability to influence through effective sales and prospecting techniques while building friendly and positive business relationships;
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule, available to work outside of normal business hours to attend trade; shows, conventions, and business events or to complete any agreed upon task.
  • Experience leveraging social media and learning new software quickly;
