The Role
As a Bilingual Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our expanding group of French-speaking clients. You will be responsible for managing accounting-related inquiries and providing timely and accurate responses to our clients. Your role will involve handling invoicing and payment-related queries and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for processing credit card transactions and daily cash postings. Additionally, you will need to maintain accurate financial records and enter data into accounting systems. Your role will involve working collaboratively with other members of the accounting team, as well as various departments within the organization.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills in both French and English, as well as an understanding of accounting principles and practices. You will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to meet deadlines. Your ability to provide outstanding customer service, maintain accurate financial records, and work collaboratively with others will be critical to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
· Daily Cash posting
· Processing credit card payments
· Processing Accounts Payable
· Invoice Coding
· Clerical and administrative support
· Ad-hoc duties to support the accounting team as required
Qualifications
· 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role
· Bilingual in both official languages (French/English)
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field considered an asset
· Proficient in MS Office Suite
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
