This Associate, M&A will join a proven and high-performing internal M&A team consisting of top performing, modest, high-achieving can-do, high-intellect finance professionals.
The M&A team is highly visible in the organization, works closely with the Senior Executive team.
The M&A team has been instrumental to the growth of the organization, with MUCH more to come!
Reporting directly to a Director, M&A, the successful Associate, M&A will be a key member of a team that executes on the Company’s corporate strategy during a period of continued, record-breaking, and dynamic growth. They will leverage their technical abilities, analytical skills, and have responsibility for owning financial models, leading diligence, and more!
In this Associate, M&A role, you will continue to develop your leadership skills under the guidance and mentorship of experienced investment professionals and take on increasing levels of responsibility as you demonstrate your ability to independently and expertly execute multiple complex transactions, on track with an unlimited growth runway.
This is a great opportunity for a sharp and proven finance professional with at least two years’ experience working in a deal-driven environment, including corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and financial advisory (M&A).

Some responsibilities in this dynamic role are as follows:
- Manage diligence processes and engage with internal/ external legal, technology, HR, and tax
- Lead conversations with owners, advisors, and bankers with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
- Assist in the finance, operations, and integration of newly acquired businesses
- Drive the entire M&A process including conducting detailed financial, sales, marketing, and operational diligence; drafting investment memorandums for board approval; and crafting integration strategy
- Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial information, valuation and operational models
- Collaborate with M&A and executive team to source and evaluate acquisitions
Requirements
The ideal star candidate for the role will possess the following characteristics:
- Highly driven, with a natural bias to action
- Expertise in building financial models, and proficiency in preparing thoughtfully structured analysis
- Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Finance professional with 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and/or financial advisory/audit
- Strong analytical skills and financially fluent
- An Independent self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- A strong understanding of technology and a passion for the software industry
- Works well in a small team environment
- Strong academic record from a competitive institution with a degree in business or finance
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse with senior executives
- Ambitious career goals with the ability to work flexible hours to grow within a fast-growing organization
- Outstanding attention to detail with little reviewing required
- Thrives under pressure and thinks sharply on their feet
