Company Description

Our client is a mid-tier independent investment firm located in downtown Toronto. They have 4000-6000 orpahned account that they are looking for an outgoing ambitious individual to re-engage with. This is an excellent opportunity for a client facing, individual lookjng to build their own book of business. All accounts are current clients of the firm that they are looking to grow.


Role Description

This is a full-time Associate Investment Advisor / Investment Advisor role with CanSource Consultants located in Toronto, ON. This is a hybrid role, implying that while the role is located in Toronto, some remote work is acceptable.


The Associate Investment Advisor / Investment Advisor will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, analyzing financial data and market trends, and providing investment advice and portfolio recommendations. They will also be responsible for developing customized investment solutions and managing client portfolios to help achieve their financial goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets, products, and services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar client-facing role within the investment industry
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation is a plus
  • Experience with sustainable or Impact Investing is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
