The Opportunity

The Operations Systems Improvement Analyst is a hands-on role balancing the demands of direct day-to-day warehouse systems support with longer-term strategic continuous improvement objectives. You will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams, although reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Operations Systems Improvement Analyst position requires an appreciation for entrepreneurship without a large corporate infrastructure. The ideal candidate is self-driven with the ability to independently manage projects requiring problem-solving and dynamic decision management to deliver world-class system improvement designs, improvements, and execution at our Nudestix Toronto site.

The Objectives of this Role

As an Operations Systems Improvement Analyst, you are responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s digital transformation and continued systems improvements. This role is responsible for articulating business requirements, recommending automated solutions, and executing modifications to the company’s NetSuite platform, warehouse management systems, and alike.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end NetSuite enhancement roadmap across all organizational needs
• Assess and implements technology solutions that improve fulfillment and supply chain efficiency
• Conduct assessments of organizational operations and systems to provide focused improvement opportunities to increase fulfillment efficiencies, reduce lead times, and increase due date performance
• Analyze process data to identify and develop process improvement opportunities
• Design and implement new production processes and tooling
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to identify, prioritize, and execute both process and material pipeline project initiatives
• Work with other team members to design and test automations and integrations
• Utilize formalized root cause problems solving techniques to resolve operational concerns
• Evaluate production bottlenecks and implement action plans to increase efficiency
• Define detailed functional requirements that can solution business requirements without automations and scripting in NetSuite
• Work directly with production team to provide day-to-day support and proactive problem resolution where required
• Undertake automation and/or scripting solutions to deliver business
• Hands-on experience in full project life cycle to ensure successful project delivery
• Understand warehouse operating systems, ERP systems such as NetSuite, and associated tooling in order to support and improve production and operational efficiency
• Experience with eComm platform integrations into ERP systems for organizational system optimization

Who You Are

• Experience with Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing preferred
• Well-versed with MS Office suite of products and data analysis software
• Experience
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as process improvement, business, finance, engineering or related
• Experience in modules like Warehouse Management, Planning Budgeting Cloud Services and Manufacturing Retail Planning would be considered an asset.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques, including the use of mathematical models to improve warehouse flow and optimize fulfillment processes
• Demonstrated interpersonal competence including reliability, consistency, flexibility and adaptability in day-to-day interactions
• Ability to analyze workflow and process flow diagrams and interpret process dependencies to improve overall warehouse operational throughput
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to learn and grow with an organization
• 3-5 years of experience in process automation, or similar
• A problem solver who can devise a solution and lead entire execution
• At least 3 years of experience delivering end-to-end solutions in the NetSuite ERP platform
