RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and manage technical teams
• Design and develop new systems to enable quick and easy consumption of data
• Leveraging vector databases for efficient similarity search and clustering of dense vectors.
• Working with Web 2.0 technologies alongside our AI infrastructure to deliver business value to our users and customers
• Intelligently design data models for optimal storage and retrieval
• Systematically integrating multiple models for distinct tasks to solve complex business problems
• Ownership of the end-to-end data engineering component of the solution
• Deploy inclusive data quality checks to ensure high quality of data
• Securely source external data
• Multi-modal data (text, image, audio) integration and fusion for the purpose of matching, structured storage and efficient retrieval
• Apply proven expertise and build high-performance scalable data warehouses
• Design, build and launch efficient & reliable data pipelines to move and transform data (both large and small amounts)
• Evaluating, training and fine-tuning foundation models from various architectures (eg: transformers, CNN, RL, GNN...)

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with pre-trained technologies, including efficient training, deployment as a service, and working with pre-trained models in NLP, CV, and video analysis.
• Experience with designing and operating systems leveraging cloud data processing, training, deployment platforms (ex: AWS, GCP…)
• Preferred background in natural language processing, computer vision, and video analysis.
• Advantageous to have published or interned in top conferences within the field, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, - ACL, OSDI, NSDI, SC, SigMOD, etc.
• Ability to make architectural decisions founded on business value
• Excellent at communicating your findings to technical and non-technical audiences via oral presentations and visual documentation
• Proficiency in popular Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, along with programming languages like Python, C++..
• Experience with large-scale online Machine Learning platforms or related work is a plus.
• Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering field
• Ability to evaluate, select, and manage technical talent
