Position Overview:

Reporting directly to Otolane’s Co-Presidents, the VP of Product will play a critical role in shaping and executing our product strategy. This is a senior leadership position where you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of product managers, designers, and engineers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations, to drive the development and launch of innovative and market-leading products.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Otolane, aligning with the company's overall objectives.
2. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, designers, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
3. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities and drive product innovation.
4. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of high-quality products.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development efforts.
6. Define and monitor key product metrics, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and user experience.
7. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and pricing for new products and features.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to drive continuous improvement and keep Otolane at the forefront of the automotive auction market.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
2. Proven experience (8+ years) in product management roles, preferably in the automotive or online marketplace industry.
3. Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing product teams.
4. Extensive experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and execution, from ideation to launch.
5. Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and achieve business goals.
7. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate market trends and customer insights into actionable product strategies.
8. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
