About This Opportunity
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing strategic Canadian accounts. Account responsibility includes developing account relationships, managing initial and ongoing account launches, maximizing opportunities to expand distribution of retail products, recommend additional account product offering, engage accounts in promotional opportunities and maintain a consistent account revenue stream. The Account Manager is also responsible for developing internal relationships with various teams and is to be viewed as a subject matter expert for their portfolio of accounts. This position also supports the overall business priorities in a fast paced and evolving environment.

- Manage initial and ongoing account launches
- Conduct internal/client facing Quarterly Business Reviews and future planning

- Responsible for managing a portfolio of merchant accounts
- Support employee ENGAGEMENT through our diverse communities.
- Meet InComm’s company and divisional goals for customer retention and growth
- Develop Merchant Account relationships and maximize opportunities to expand sales
- Rely on TEAMWORK and collaboration to achieve our goal
Qualifications
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Other Tasks and Responsibilities as assigned
- Comfortable learning new technology/product lines in a highly innovative environment
- Ability to listen attentively, respond effectively and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience within managing retail accounts, background in CPG or prepaid/gift card industry is a bonus
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize heavy workload while meeting deadlines
- Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
- Located in BC
- Some travel required – 10-15%
- 2-4 years relevant experience
- Must be driven to identify and exceed customer needs and expectations
- Superior relationship management skills including ability to engage in strategic conversations with all levels of management
- Aptitude for thinking and acting on a strategic and tactical level
- Experience analyzing sales reports and identifying trends
- Demonstrated ability to grow account revenue through activities such as product expansion, promotional opportunities or program implementations
