THE FABLE:
Carlos Henrique Raposo, better known as Carlos Kaiser, is a former Brazilian football player whose career was defined by deception and manipulation.
Born April 2, 1963, Kaiser secured contracts with several football clubs – despite lacking genuine talent!
Kaiser relied on his charm and ability to fabricate stories to convince clubs to sign him. Once signed, he avoided playing matches by feigning injury or citing other excuses.
He trained separately from the team to maintain the illusion of recovery and preparation.
Amazingly, his career spanned from the 1980s to the early 2000s, during which he moved between several Brazilian clubs.
While there is no record of Kaiser ever playing a in a single match, he managed to enjoy all the perks of a professional footballer, including salaries and a lavish lifestyle.
Eventually, his deception was exposed, revealing the truth about his lack of footballing abilities!
What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?
Nothing, really.
That said, while you’re here, Janna French is looking for an Account Executive to promote solutions in the 3PL + transportation + logistics space.
POSITION: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
LOCATIONS: MISSISSAUGA + HAMILTON + TORONTO + OSHAWA + OTTAWA
INDUSTRY: TRANSPORTATION / LOGISTICS
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Account Executive will target new business via various sales strategies – selling a suite of global 3PL logistics covering land, air & sea.
They will work collaboratively with internal teams to provide logistics and technology solutions for clients.
The AE will be involved in long-term strategy, business development, client relations, operations, management – and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Target new revenue accounts while exploring new areas of business.
· Meet sales objectives and maintain regular contact with accounts.
· Establish relationships with account C-suite executives.
· Secure opportunities with decision makers.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 3+ years of successful proven track record in transportation/logistics sales (3PL preferred).
· Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and applications.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Highly motivated self-starter & disciplined professional.
· Outgoing personality; high energy; able to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
REMUNERATION
BASE SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $150,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $60,000 - $200,000 (25% of Gross Profit)
ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $160,000 - $350,000
OTHER: benefits + vacation + mileage program
