Tracking of outgoing packages (including recording and reporting of shipping delays, etc)

Dealing with shipping companies regarding late deliveries, customs issues, etc

Quality inspection of outgoing hardware

Able to safely lift and carry goods and packages up to 40lbs in weight

Must have valid forklift certification with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience.

Coordinate with customers for delivery requests, appointments and requirements.

Ability to learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure adherence to ISO requirements.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Shipping and Receiving environment.

Basic level computer skills in MS Office products.

Safety certifications are an asset for the position.

Effectively pick customer orders for shipping.

Make sure the number and type of product is loaded, packaged, weighed and shipped.

Receive shipments from the supplier, place and correctly classify the stock received.

Ensure all customer requirements re product identification and markings are met

Assist in loading of vehicles to ensure safety on the road

Ensure all bands (strapping) are in proper position and securely fastened

Ensure accurate weighing and recording of ingot and sow weights including scale calibration tests.

Operate ingot stacking machine and ingot conveyor

Sweep and clean warehouse, operate drainage sump pumps in truck bay and clean out when necessary
