Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Alliance Door Products of Calgary, AB is currently hiring a full-time Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support our shipping and receiving department with administrative functions. In this role you will print, sort and review pick tickets, coordinate pickups and drop-offs, arrange shipments, respond to emails, communicate effectively with various departments (production, sales) to ensure accurate ordering and that product is built on time to ship out, investigating why orders were not shipped on time and anticipating problems before any issues happen, run weekly reports and be hands on when needed.

This position works Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 3:00pm. They earn $19 to $23 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to frequently and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to efficiently learn and master product information, processes, procedures, and information systems
• Two or more years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Prior experience with an inventory management system
• Driven to consistently provide exceptional service and support to customers
• Door industry experience would be an asset
• Reach Truck (stand up) Forklift experience a must
• Ability to address stressful situations in a calm, respectful, positive, and productive manner
• Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and organization
• Excellent communication skills with individuals and groups/teams
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision and frequent interruptions
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
