Compensation: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $25-$30/HR

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Shipping/Receiving position is an essential role to the Gateway team. The role requires detailed responsibility to visually inspect and record all incoming/outgoing shipments and corresponding shipping labels and shipping documents. Basic forklift operation is a requirement. The candidate is required to administer paperwork and manage accurate shipping data and stock inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responds to customers via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship through all communication channels.
• Ensuring all inventory leaving/entering Gateway BOP has appropriate paperwork such as CER’S, RTF’S, and shipping documents.
• Responds to customers via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship through all communication channels.
• Actively monitor material organization, stocking levels, & accuracy and organization in the stock room
• Diligently follow Check-lists, policies, processes & procedures
• Maintain a safe & positive work environment
• Create shipping labels, shipping documents, and purchase orders, and lose part sales
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Prior Forklift Operator experience is an asset, but not required
• Minimum Grade 12 Education | Prior experience is an asset
• Permanent resident of Canada
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Valid drivers licence
• Able to deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events in a professional & timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Basic computer skills
• Sage experience is an asset but not required
