Provides management, leadership, and oversight of the IT Operations functions, which includes the Service Delivery/Help Desk and Infrastructure teams.

Oversight and management of project managers/consultants/contractors responsible for projects within IT Operations scope.

Oversees the regular monitoring of the IT operating environment with careful consideration and management of relevant KPIs.

Understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management.

Manage IT Operations staffing including recruitment, supervision, development, evaluation actions.

Performs product research and selection, followed by procurement of hardware and software, and manages licenses and subscriptions.

Advanced analytical skills, and knowledge of project delivery framework, application development, and/or program management experience

University degree in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience

10 years of progressive IT management experience, with a deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and implementation

An influential leader with strong analytical and problem solving skills, in conjunction with sound judgment, staff management and teambuilding skills

Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make cost-effective recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems to senior management

Work experience in a GxP or ISO9000 environment, and PMP certification are assets

Experience with source control management (e.g. Git) and Continuous Integration Tools (e.g. Jenkins)

Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related

Experience working with Dynamics 365 Sales, Power BI is an asset

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Project management, ITIL, and/or change management certifications are preferred
