5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military

Experience with and ability to read a blueprint

Basic Microsoft Office computer skills

Experience and ability to perform welding activities such as MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English

Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift

Sequencing WA’s based on latest requirements and capacities

Increase communication and information flow between Buffer, Drilling, and Assembly, Supervisor and Manager

Knowledge of finished colors and their identification codes, veneer substrates and sanding defects

Two (2) years of experience within manufacturing environment

Maintain a closed loop flow control system

Prepare the short-list and the hot-list items

Ensure identification, routing, attachment and connection of cables;

Performs electrical continuity and grounding tests on electrical circuit conductors;

Verify the installation and operation of all electrical circuits using test equipment such as testers, ohmmeters, voltmeters, megohmmeters, etc;

Detect and correct any faults and replace defective components and wires.

Travel 50% of the time for short periods (Bagotville and Cold Lake military bases).

Logistics Inventory Management System (LIMS) knowledge

Computer skills including general computer activities, data entry, Microsoft Office applications

High school diploma or similar experience

Experience with loading docks and warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, ladders, etc.)

Forklift License (minimum 2 years of recent experience)

Experience in Canadian & international shipments via different mediums (transport, air, sea, etc.).

Ensuring all work is performed according to the Quality Management System (QMS)

Operating/configuring data acquisition to meet test requirements

Previous experience in testing and troubleshooting industrial equipment.

Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and LABView data acquisition (DAQ) software

Must be eligible to meet the requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CPG) and a Canadian government security clearance

Installing and setting-up of production naval equipment into test rigs/fixtures

Must adhere to attendance policy.

Must be willing to work in a safe proximity to other people for extended periods of time.

Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment where there are time pressures to complete work quickly.

Requires standing for most of shift.

Requires repetitive motions, stretching, bending, turning, or reaching to accomplish work activities.

May require pushing carts or bins full of bulk or linen product to station to prepare for folding.

Obtain a DOT medical certification

3-5 years' experience as a truck mechanic

Have an active driver’s license

Be at least 21 years of age

Provide documentation regarding their previous employment

Investigate and resolve anyshipping/mailing/receiving/issuing issues and bring it to management attention when appropriate.

Perform daily Inventory Management activities with cards and collateral.

Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus and not a hard requirement.

High school equivalent or higher with good math skills

Prior experience working in a team environment is a plus

At least 3 years of experiencewith computers (familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel)

Minimum 1 year of industrial sand blasting experience using various blast medium and have worked in a paint shop environment

Reads paint specifications for application.

Must be able to operate Sandblasting equipment and equipment used for surface finishing

Must be able to sandblast as per drawings and produce quality work within minimal acceptable standards as specified in the procedures.

Maintains painting equipment and personal protection equipment.

Must be able to work from Manufacturing Routings (Work Orders).

Experience in a manufacturing environment;

Experience in CNC machine operation and welding would be considered an asset;

Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment;

Oversee and assemble chamber loads based on standard procedures and customer specifications;

Disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads;

Continuous visual inspection and handling of customer product with the highest level of care.

Support and assist project management with NPL activities.

Trains and develops technical skills in shop personnel.

Apply Plasman Guiding Principles while carrying out job responsibilities.

Technical degree or equivalent training/experience.

Experience as a Set-up and Process Technician.

Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to Hollandia management

Realize daily/weekly/monthly targets set by the Production Manager

Work with Production Manager to establish targets; delegate tasks accordingly

Work with Production Manager to identify raw material, packaging and labour needs based on work environment and inventory reports;

Work with QA and Safety to ensure certifications and food safety is maintained

Work with/report to Production Manager, Quality Control and Food Safety, Other Production Shift Managers

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards
