Technician 1 2Nd Shift Jobs

We are looking for a Technician for our Guelph facility. Oerlikon Balzers Canada is seeking an energetic and detail oriented production worker to join our team in our state of the art centre in Guelph, Ontario. The Technician pre-treats a variety of customer products using standardized procedures in preparation for coating. The position requires analytical thinking to oversee and assemble chamber loads based on customer specifications.

Your Responsibilities

• Disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads;
• Continuous visual inspection and handling of customer product with the highest level of care.
• Work with the Quality Coordinator to identify and address quality concerns.
• Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment;
• Oversee and assemble chamber loads based on standard procedures and customer specifications;

Your Profile

• Hands on
• Ability to work with hands and be able lift 30 lbs.
• Experience in CNC machine operation and welding would be considered an asset;
• Experience in a manufacturing environment;

This is a permanent position. Occasional overtime is required.
