A minimum of two years experience in digital/social media.

Experience pitching and developing stories with a clear focus for social audiences.

Knowledge of how to structure reporterless pieces and hone the focus for a social audience.

Produces and edits social treatments in breaking news scenarios.

Fluent knowledge and skills in photography and photo retouching

Self Management: Manages own time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals.

Core Professional/Technical Knowledge & Skills required for the position:

Ensure creative/concept transfers effectively into French language and meets AODA requirements

Minimum 2-3 years professional work experience in a Multimedia Designer or Graphic Designer role

Experience with web design and page/post creation in a CMS platform

Experienced with project management. Can troubleshoot process and technical issues. Regularly presents leaders with project status updates.

Strong organizational and project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to design master templates as well as specific documentation to support various team member requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in graphic design and video creation/editing

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing

Strong artistic conceptualization and visualization skills, user-centered design, graphic style guides, typography, interactive infographics.

Experienced with project management. Can troubleshoot process and technical issues. Regularly presents leaders with project status updates.

Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery, collaborating with internal & external stakeholders

Strong leadership skills and team management.

Must be able to speak to or demonstrate experience in large-skill productions.

Offer creative input and brainstorm on pitches.

Coordinate and manage full on-location video productions/talent/permits, crews, and equipment.

Adobe Creative Suite Advanced knowledge.

Professional skills in videography, video production, color correction, and audio editing.

Experience working with or in web environments utilizing similar skill sets, an asset;

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Muse, Animator).

Knowledge of typography, colour theory and design;

Knowledge of WCAG standards on accessibility to ensure technical compliance;

Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills;

Design work for all services for print and digital channels, including brochures/collateral, signage, social media, web graphics, and other digital assets;

Hands-on experience in video production. Ideally, you have a working knowledge of lighting, mics and digital camera equipment.

You’re a graduate of a Film/Television/Media program or have equivalent experience and know-how

Graphic design skills are a bonus
