Job Description

The Multimedia Designer will be a core team member in our quest to build a best-in-class in-house Creative Services team. The successful candidate will help ideate and produce creative design to support the launch of new products and programs. From designing all types of traditional marketing collateral, to creating dynamic landing pages, digital publications and online ads, to video creation – your role will focus heavily on multimedia, digital and creative design to grow Cardinal Health brand, support customers and our supplier partners. This is an 18-month contract position with on-site flex model. This role will report at our Vaughan head-office twice a week (Tuesday/Wednesday). 

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage library of photos, videos, graphics, and media assets to be used across all our marketing channels
  • Contribute to creative development and execution for promotions, from theme and concept development to asset creative for online and offline use
  • Support the production of simple videos and animated GIFs for LinkedIn 
  • Act as a brand steward to uphold the integrity of our brand across all channels, but challenge the creative boundaries to support our digital evolution
  • Develop static and dynamic assets for marketing campaigns (i.e.) email, website, digital flip books, infographics, logo design, online ads, brochures, strategic print, etc
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers, Product Managers and RA QA to collect and implement feedback for final approval
  • Apply a digital first approach to all things design to ensure ROI is clear and intentional  

Qualifications:

  • HTML and CMS experience
  • Degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or similar discipline
  • Portfolio required
  • Self-starter; able to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Proficiency in Premier Pro & Adobe Animate (video editing)
  • 2-3 years professional-level experience in a graphic design role
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, Premier Pro) in PC/Mac
  • Strong language and proofreading skills; attention to detail
