Youth Counsellor and Café Manager will report on participant successes through qualitative and quantitative findings such as personal testimonials, job performance

Experience in the food service sector (including food security)

Experience working within project timelines and budgets

Order equipment and coordinate any retrofitting for the Café

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards

Decorate pastries and desserts to ensure a beautiful and tasteful presentation.

Availability to work for 1-7 days per week.

A minimum of 2 years of pastry experience in a similar environment

Sound knowledge of preparation of baked goods and desserts

Sound knowledge of current sanitation processes

Ongoing communication with the Chef/Supervisor/team to discuss preparation of all baked items, dessert components and function desserts.

Daily production, handling, storage, rotation and service of all baked items.

Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of all pastry goods
