Job Description

We are hiring!

Our cafe, Canoe Co. Cafe is seeking a full time Cafe Manager for busy downtown Peterborough Starbucks Cafe and Gelateria.


Responsibilities includes:

->Posts job ads for barista, performs interviews, hires and trains new staff.

->Provides on-going training for staff.

->Managing day to day operations of the cafe.

->Creating and posting a weekly schedule.

->Doing inventory counts and ordering products (alcohol, gelato, all cafe supplies).

->Preparing monthly invoices for catering clients.

->Calculate daily tips and submit to payroll.

->Track monthly expenses and provide spreadsheets of expenses/profits to owner.

->Track monthly waste.

->Maintains relationships with wholesalers and vendors, orders food/milk/etc daily.

->Organizing client lunches within Euphoria Wellness Spa, as well as all spa food and beverage operations.

->Schedule equipment maintenance.

->Maintain high level of customer service.

MUST HAVE: smart serve, safe food handlers certificate
