Mos Mos Coffee is a small business in Toronto, ON M5G 2K4. We are professional, customer-centric, creative, and our goal is to brew the perfect cup of coffee while serving a range of coffee and espresso drinks and specialty chai lattes. Operations Management:

  • Ensure efficient workflows and processes to optimize productivity and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate strategies.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of cafe operations, including staffing, inventory management, and vendor relations.


Commercial kitchen management:

  • Decorate and present baked goods in display cases
  • Scale, measure, prep and mix ingredients to produce baked goods
  • Ability to bake with gluten-free and vegan ingredients
  • Manage inventory of baked goods
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment at all times


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.
  • Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company updates, promote engagement, and address concerns.


Customer Service and Experience:

  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently upheld.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the cafe's offerings and improve the overall customer experience.


Financial Management:

  • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or service.
  • Monitor and manage cafe budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability targets.


Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory reports


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour


Benefits: Discounted or free food


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekend availability
  • 8 hour shift


Work location: In person / Toronto, ON M5G 2K4 - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Education: Secondary School


Experience: Management: 2 years (required)
