Job Title: Strategic Development Program

Objectives and Goals of the SDP:

Our SDP Graduates go on to be leaders within the PC’s in a variety of roles:

*Inside or Outside Account Manger

Relevant working experience on at management and strategic level or experience in handling projects with demonstrable record of success

Strong account management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key partners and stakeholders

Knowledge of business and risk governance practices, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements within the insurance and financial services sectors

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban etc

You obsess about customers, listen, engage, and act for their benefit

Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality results

Minimum 10 years’ progressive management experience in the agricultural industry and the development and or delivery of public sector programs

Proven experience in strategic leadership and stakeholder relationship management

Post-secondary degree in business administration, finance/commerce or agriculture with industry specific experience

Program knowledge – Knows and understands the programs and services provided by Agricorp

Sponsor projects and initiatives that keep Agricorp programs relevant to its customers and compliant with changing government priorities

Ensure the seamless integration of program developments or improvements into implementation and operational plans

Input final grades into Langara’s student management system

Maintains a comprehensive and current knowledge of assigned subject areas

15+ years of professional experience directly related to career development practice

10+ years teaching experience in similar course or related subject in a post-secondary institution

Experience in developing course materials

Proven knowledge of BC settlement information and local labour market information

You have 2+ years of experience in software sales and a track record of achieving targets in a lead-generation role

Develop, propose and lead cross-functional project organization in collaboration with the CapEx Project Manager and other workstream leads.

Direct leadership experience in setting up a multimillion-dollar enterprise-wide project requiring a significant budgetary responsibility associated with the project

Competent user of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), LMS, CMS, and other document management software

Determines filming and lighting requirements and supervises entire camera operations.

Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design/teaching/vocational training

Work experience in the oil and gas sector

Provides day-to-day technical work direction to assigned film/video crew, including contract personnel.

Participates in assignment briefings to plan, schedule, and address sensitivities of assigned production.

Leads planning, development and communications for all research projects.

Initiates and oversees the development of prestigious award nominations to increase recognition for LSI s research.

Provides expertise on a wide range of research areas. Performs other duties as required.

Ability to read difficult or complicated text analytically and critically

Ability to interpret and deconstruct program guidelines into clear descriptions of actions and essential steps

Ability to provide training in workshops to varying audience groups

Proactively analyzes security activity, and other key metrics to identify trends and highlight opportunities for program adjustments.

Compiles high quality reports on a regular and ad hoc basis.

Serves as the administrator and subject matter expert on the Protection Services incident reporting database (SSIRS).

Maintains an accurate record of all uniforms, equipment and supplies issued to staff and/or shared at the site level.

Develops and maintains strong working relationships with key partners.

Ensures Protection Services radio infrastructure is appropriately licensed and complies with Industry Canada regulations.
