Job Title: Strategic Development Program

Job Location : London - Ontario

Salary: $40000-45000 per year

Employment Terms: Full-time, Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Benefits after 90 days, Medical, Dental, Optional Pension as well as Profit Share. No weekends. No evenings.

Objectives and Goals of the SDP:

· Attract, retain and develop high-potential individuals to be come exceptional leaders through a process of structured development

· Take a multi-faceted approach to incorporate all teammates in a wide variety of career paths (Leadership, Sales, Operations, Administration)

· Create a vehicle to get the Right people to where they need to be to live into their dream

SDP Graduates

Our SDP Graduates go on to be leaders within the PC’s in a variety of roles:

*Profit Centre Manager

*Showroom Supervisor

*Business Development Manager

*Inside or Outside Account Manger

*Warehouse Manager,And More!

The 5 Phases of Development:

Essentials – 0-6 months, focusing on warehouse, showroom, Shipping & Receiving and Logistics basics

Expansion – 6-12 months, focusing on world class customer service

Enhancement -1-2 years, focusing on operational excellence

Exploration – 2-3 years, focusing on account management and proactive sales

Evolution – 3-4 years+, focusing on leadership and business development

SDP Requirements:

· High performing teammate tracking to a leadership role within the PC

· Strong interest in Sales and/or Operations

· Post Secondary Education (College & University) all disciplines of study considered

· Candidates must have a SWAN Mentality

S – Someone who is SMART and learns quickly

W – Work Ethic – someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves

A – Ambition – someone who is wanting to grow

N – Nice – someone with a good attitude

Program Expectations

· You must be meaningfully engaged in your leadership and career path development

· You must be actively involved in the SDT community, eg Collaborate with and support your fellow SDT’s

· You must contribute to SDP Initiatives, eg Participate in special projects and resource development
