Standards Technologist Jobs

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years of experience in standards development, stakeholder engagement, and/or project management.

Designation as a Project Management Professional, or equivalent designation/experience, would be an asset.

Experience and knowledge of the standards industry, government policy, and/or oil and gas sector landscape.

Bachelor’s degree business administration, accounting or finance

Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position

Experience in large accounting firm

Knowledge of IFRS and ability to research IFRS

Ensure compliance with CEO/CFO Certification requirements

A minimum of 8 years relevant accounting/finance experience in progressively responsible positions

Strong project management and ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) relevant to conformity assessment.

Manage implementation of small to medium sized projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Solid technical background and in-depth knowledge of science and engineering principles relevant to the industry.

10+ Years of Relevant Experience

Lead the development of system-level requirements by working effectively with other engineering and cross-functional disciplines.

Review the design of Cummins standard products against the requirements. Identify gaps and mitigation strategies.

Effectively communicate the capability of a system-level design concept to meet a vast set of regulatory requirements.

Salary: CAD 100K per annum + Benefits.

Distill all relevant Codes & Standards applicable for electrolyzer products installed in North America into a design checklist.

Management and maintenance of any developed information and records within the RCN and NETE systems of record

Recognized technologist certification or certified to the RQ-PO1, QL-6 or QL-7 level of military technical training

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the O365 environment

Well-developed technical writing and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, able to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision

Strong working knowledge in the maintenance, operation, design and/or troubleshooting of a wide range of marine systems

You have effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

You possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred but not a requirement

You have 3-5 years (post designation) of accounting and assurance standards experience

You have experience in delivering training and presentations, including development of relevant materials

Manager, National Assurance & Accounting Standards – Private Companies

Providing guidance and performing research to assist individuals in the Firm’s local offices on accounting and assurance and related services matters

3-5+ Years of experience working in Electronics Product Testing, Qualification, Validation or Design.

Strong knowledge and comfort level working with computer systems, and skilled at resolving problems when working with computers.

Perform product programming of firmware/software based on customer or product requirements.

Hand soldering SMT & through-hole components(Training will be provided, previous experience soldering under a microscope would be an asset)

Experience with mechanical assembly of products following an assembly drawing.

Experience working in an ISO 9000/9001 or AS9100D or workplace

At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a firm, external audit or industry environment

CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it (EFC passed)

Familiarity with contract analysis and modification, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and policy and compliance implementation (an asset)

Bilingualism: English required and functional French

Previous experience required in the production of aviation training manuals and programs

Reviewing productive hours and instructor calculations submitted by training Squadrons to ensure conformity with current TPs and School Work Instructions

Developing assessment plans for SKEs

Generating examinations from assessment plans
