Your responsibilities in a nutshell!


Prepare accounting memoranda accompanied by IFRS research - Analyze new contracts to ensure compliance with IFRS - Act as a consultant in the application of accounting standards with various stakeholders - Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis - Support departments and monitor financial statements - Ensure compliance with IFRS. Support departments and monitor accounting information and data relating to leases for compliance with IFRS-16 - Participate in the development and maintenance of global accounting policies - Coordinate the application of new policies related to the evolution of IFRS - Collaborate in the accounting of business combinations, involving coordination with external valuers as well as the M&A team and external auditors, as appropriate - Prepare supporting documentation for external auditors - Support the corporate team on special projects such as network and financial instruments optimization initiatives.


Your assets for the position


  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a firm, external audit or industry environment
  • Familiarity with contract analysis and modification, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and policy and compliance implementation (an asset)
  • Knowledge of SAP (asset)
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it (EFC passed)
  • Bilingualism: English required and functional French
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards
