Overview:
Scientific glassblowing is a specialized field of glassblowing that involves the fabrication of laboratory glassware and apparatus for scientific research and experimentation. Scientific glassblowers must have a thorough understanding of the properties of glass and the techniques of glassblowing in order to create precise and accurate pieces of laboratory glassware. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams in order to create the desired pieces.How To Become an Scientific Glassblower:
In order to become a scientific glassblower, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also have experience in glassblowing, either through a formal apprenticeship or through on-the-job training. Additionally, you must have a thorough understanding of the properties of glass and the techniques of glassblowing in order to create precise and accurate pieces of laboratory glassware.Scientific Glassblower Skills:
