Prepare P.O.s for approval by Property Manager

Check life safety systems, complete fire log book

Inspect boiler and electrical rooms and supply inventory

Inspect parking levels and exterior grounds

Inspect floors and grounds and list deficiencies

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in building operations and/or property management (residential and/ or commercial), preferably in non-profit housing.

College Diploma in Property Management, Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration, or related Bachelor’s Degree.

CMRAO License or designation from a recognized housing administrator (e.g., Institute of Housing Management) or in process of completing.

Solid knowledge of OHSA and WSIB requirements.

Manager, Operations and Resident Experience

Pay Rate: $60,000.00 to $72,800.00, based on experience and qualifications

· Previous experience with residential property management industry is an asset

· Creating and maintaining positive Tenant Relations

A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in organizational management in residential care.

Demonstration of leadership and coaching skills. Experience in recruitment, policy implementation, and health and safety standards.

Participates in the Manager On Duty (MOD) rotational schedule.

Knowledge of Ontario Residential Care Association standards and programs and relevant government legislation and standards.

Post nursing education in gerontology or other related program.

Self-directed and team-oriented, with strong organization and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Master’s degree in a relevant subject area, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working within a university research environment.

Experience in Indigenous community engagement including an understanding of relevant protocols, principles, and practices for respectful engagement.

Experience leading and administering research programs.

Support the work of the TCA Research Advisory Committee, and report regularly to TCA governance bodies regarding TCA research programs’ progress.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma or certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional Engineering designation and / or Project Management certification (PMI) is an asset.

Manage scope, cost, schedule, safety and quality and performance objectives for Core Programs.

7 years of related experience is preferred.

Knowledge of navigating the regulatory permitting regime.

Previous experience developing schedules, track actions, and drive projects to completion.

A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in organizational management in residential care

Expertise in functional safety technical development and project management

Manage the technical team assigned to the functional safety projects

Manage all phases of the projects (kick-off, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closure) while respecting contract mandate

Manage customer relationship, customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction

Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge of safety critical standards – ISO 26262, ARP 4754A, EN 50126, NF EN 50128, NF EN 50129

Experienced people leader with employee development and performance management skills

Minimum of 7 years experience in project management or other related roles

Extensive knowledge of the University of Alberta's policies, procedures and operational requirements would be an asset

Works directly with the Directors to ensure their program requirements are being met by the assigned team member.

Significant experience in fundraising and a deep understanding of the fundraising continuum.

Experience working in a fundraising environment, supporting complex and varied areas of development

Coordinate maintenance requirements and work orders in an efficient and cost-effective manner, performing duties when able.

Scheduling contractors and service work, in consultation with the property manager, and following up to ensure the task has been completed.

Deal promptly with emergencies and unusual circumstances and provide an update to the property manager in a timely manner.

A minimum of five (5) years’ related experience

Team player with great communication and written skills

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with email use
