Assists Warehouse Manager with the daily management of both the on-site and off-site warehouses.

High School Diploma preferred. 3-5 years of warehouse experience in a lead role and/or a combination of work experience and education.

Assists Warehouse Manager in the direction of daily activities of the Warehouse Attendants.

Responsible for communicating any operational needs to the Warehouse Manager.

Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures as dictated by the Warehouse manager.

Must have working knowledge of MS Word, and Excel. Stratton-Warren knowledge is desired.

Active participation in the implementation and ongoing review of the Quality Management System (QMS);

Work within Conair’s Target Zero program to ensure incoming product meets health and safety requirements through transmission of knowledge to end-users;

Solid computer skills/experience including word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

Previous inspection experience, preferably in the aerospace industry;

Practical knowledge of inspection techniques;

Diverse knowledge of aircraft related inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation;

Excellent time management, analytical, organization and problem-solving skills

Must possess some computer and/or data entry skills (email, Excel)

Thorough understanding of best practices in inventory management, warehousing, and receiving

High-school diploma or post-secondary education

5+ years of current hands-on experience in receiving required, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Experience supervising or directing the activities of warehouse staff

General food knowledge and computer experience an asset

Previous receiving experience or related experience in logistics companies

Proficient with PC standard tools and knowledgeable in a Windows environment with an emphasis on Word and Excel

Previous experience working with eyeglass frames/lenses is an asset

Monday to Friday – 8:00AM to 5PM – (40 hours/week).

Maintain and scan records of associated receipt documents

Understands how the merchant process impacts business and prioritizes product flow and replenishment accordingly.

Adheres to proper processing and tagging standards while maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Supports timely execution of product placement and other visual priorities.

Keeps the sales floor and back of house clean and organized to ensure product is easy to find and restock.

Shares relevant information with the leadership team regarding shipment, restock, and back of house organization to ensure task completion.

Collaborates with store leadership to share progress on results, while articulating support needs to maximize efficiency.

Ability to read blueprint/drawings and experience with product inspection in a machine shop / sheet metal environment.

Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in leading receiving personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently

Must have 2+ months of prior experience in receiving, experience as a Lead is a plus

Collaborate with the Receiving Supervisor by planning labor requirements based on forecast and direction from the Client Services team

Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product

Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise

Assist with merchandise purges when necessary
