Established in 1979, Toro Aluminum has become a leader in the development and manufacturing of window walls and doors for high-rise condominiums, office buildings and hotels, across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Toro Glasswall is a division of Toro Aluminum which specializes in manufacturing unitized pre-glazed curtain wall systems.


WORKING HOURS


  • Monday to Friday – 8:00AM to 5PM – (40 hours/week).


Responsibilities & Accountabilities


  • Provide additional backup support for receiving department and assist with other administrative functions as required
  • Maintain and scan records of associated receipt documents
  • Inform intended internal recipients of goods/packages delivered and coordinate pick-up and delivery
  • Participate in actively improving inventory accuracy
  • Work in a safe manner, consistent with our policies and procedures by identifying, reporting, and/or correcting unsafe conditions
  • Act as the key contact to investigate and follow-up with Accounts Payable and Purchasing regarding all receipt discrepancies
  • Collaborate and communicate with purchasing team and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
  • Working closely with receiver, enter all pack slips for the corresponding purchase order receipts for all products, materials, and supplies using internal inventory management systems (M1, Stock Control, etc).
  • Engage with co-workers, vendors, and drivers in a manner that is consistent with Toro’s core values
  • Collaborate with Supervisor, Quality team and vendors to identify, contain and coordinate return/replacement of defective inventory (NCR’s, RMA’s)
QUALIFICATIONS


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • 1 year of Warehouse Logistics experience an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc).
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Team player
  • Inventory Management/ERP system knowledge and/or experience an asset
