Program Support and Safety Worker should have the following skills, education and experience:

6 months minimum experience working with homeless/addictions.

Program Support and Safety Worker has the following responsibilities and duties:

Knowledge of and experience in working with individuals involved within the Forensic Mental Health System and the Criminal Justice System;

A minimum of two years of related experience with people with mental health issues.

University or College education in human services, other related disciplines, or high school diploma and related training.

Training/experience/volunteering in a field that relates to the needs of children with Special Needs or differing abilities/diagnosis

Minimum of six months’ experience working with young children

Experience working in a licensed child care setting an asset

Resource Teacher/ Consultant, Early Interventionist, Behavioural Science (i.e. ABA, IBI), Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention certification or equivalent an asset

Exceptional customer service, task organization and time management skills

Strong technological skills; proficiency in using the MS Office Suite and databases; advance knowledge of Excel is preferable.

High School Diploma and post-secondary education in Office Administration

Minimum 3 years of experience providing administrative services in an office setting

Strong financial literacy with experience in managing and maintaining budgets

Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written

Provides administrative support for ongoing projects, including compiling background material for the Executive Manager and Program Managers.

Demonstrated experience and ability to meet deadlines.

Demonstrated experience in research, analysis and interpretation of data.
