A Patient Care Associate (PCA) is a healthcare professional who provides direct patient care services in a variety of settings. They are responsible for providing basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as assisting with medical procedures and treatments. Patient Care Associates are responsible for providing basic patient care services in a variety of settings. This includes assisting with medical procedures and treatments, providing emotional support to patients and their families, and providing basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. PCAs must also be able to monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and provide basic medical treatments.
