Responsible for the successful technical continuity of care for patients receiving MRI studies.

Communicates to radiologists clinical observations made during MRI examination. Presents clinical history as recorded on appropriate documentation to radiologist.

Sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing including activation, activity programs, nursing and personnel administration.

Knowledgeable with respect to the nursing process, developments and current trends in the geriatric care field.

Experience and education with software and equipment related to interior design practices

Preference given to candidates with a Bachelor of Interior Design (or related) degree or NCIDQ certification

Minimum 2 years’ recent and relevant experience

Professional industry experience in commercial and residential design

Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is required

Some building/construction/fabrication experience in a workshop or business environment

Provides expertise and leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nutritional care of infants in the Neonatal ICU

Focuses particularly on the nutrition support of extremely low birth weight infants

Regularly attends and contributes to interprofessional morning rounds

Demonstrated good knowledge of, and experience administering sedation/analgesia/thrombolytic drugs

Patient assessment, intervention, education and advocacy

Recent Clinical Experience in Medical Imaging or Cath Lab an asset

Level 2 or 3 Critical Care experience preferred

IV insertion, central vascular access device skills and venipuncture an asset

Current demonstrated knowledge and application of medical/surgical asepsis
