Candidate should have general knowledge of ISO 9001 quality requirements as well as international standards, as applicable to their proposed discipline.

Monitor maintenance work and quality system to ensure adequate performance and compliance with company quality requirements.

Review contractor quality plans, procedures, and QA/QC personal qualification if applicable.

Ten (10) years of relevant industrial experience (5 years including in the proposed specific inspection specialty).

Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent standards for HV equipment's.

Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of electrical installations, Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location classification.

Utilize knowledge and familiarity with international standards to improve equipment performance.

You must have a thorough knowledge of best engineering practices and a solid industry codes and standards background.

Troubleshoot compressors and rotating equipment failures and performance.

Implement best-in-class solutions for rotating equipment, particularly compressors, as foreseen by international standards and internal company standards.

Lead efficiency improvement initiatives, upgrading programs, and projects for compressors.

Willing to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Several years of relevant job experience in the construction industry

Solid hands-on experience in building substations

This person will report to the Construction Manager on site.

Electrical installation (review and understand specifications, drawings, installation guidelines, commissioning, and turnover)

Substation installation (review and understand specifications, drawings, installation guidelines, commissioning and turnover)

Transmission line installation (review and understand specifications, installation guidelines, drawings, commissioning and turnover)

Implementing and sustaining the ABSA approved Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Program (PEIMP)

Strong commitment to safety and work management systems

Managing regulatory requirements, communicating to the regulatory body and maintaining records for pressure equipment

Performing inspection and verifications in accordance with the requirements of inspection test plans

ABSA In-service inspector certification and API 510 certification. Certifications in National Board, API 570 and API 653 would be an asset

Knowledge of regulatory and industrial codes and standards such as CSA, ASME, National Board and API.

Administer and implement the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management (PEIMS) Program and asset integrity inspections

Sound knowledge of ASME B31.3, pressure piping code, and regulatory requirements

Must have previous experience developing I.T.P's and completing final turnover.

CWB welding inspector qualifications – CSA W178.2 Level 2
