Screening applications and credentials for compliance with Senate-approved admission requirements

Maintaining a repository of international admission requirements that are country specific including regulations/procedures that support the admission and registration processes

May be required to provide information on admissions, prerequisites, the application process, etc. to overseas education agents and representatives.

Experience using a computer-based registration system is considered an asset.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Utilize negotiation skills and judgments to de-escalate situations, always maintaining non-physical intervention.

Monitor public area retail stores for suspicious activities and report specifics to the Operations Centre.

Identify and remedy potentially unsafe situations and communicate such events and resolution to the YVR Operations Centre.

Attend to incidents post-security only when requested by SOC, by the Security Supervisor, or YVR Ops.

Provide ongoing security risk and threat assessments, and report potential risks or concerns to the day of operations staff.

Be responsible for day to day operation of the Airport Watch Program

Project Management Skills and exceptional prioritization and work planning capabilities

Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management

Strong background in operational delivery with special consideration given for experience with data centers; infrastructure; change management and problem management

Functional knowledge of IT governance and risk management disciplines

People Management skills and ability to motivate and coach teams to produce high quality services and deliverables

Ensuring that all qualified applicants have met the published Ministry and College admission requirements and selection criteria

Reviewing the admissions process with the Manager of International Admissions and making recommendations for implementing and refining admission procedures and systems

Two-year Diploma in Business, Office Administration, Education, or related field

Three years of practical experience in student/client services and experience working with multiple large database systems and international students

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience working in a cross-cultural environment

2 - 4 years experience working on international development projects, experience in Africa and or the Middle East is an asset

Strong writing skills with a proven track record of developing quality project reports and documents

Experience working with programs focused on climate change and/or youth

Knowledge of global climate change discourse and issues

Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and shifting environment

· 3+ years of experience in purchasing and inventory management.

· Interface with peers, supervisors, management on purchasing issues.
