Experience in managing and coordinating piping-related activities, including vendor management and procurement processes.

Collaborate with project management teams to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules for piping-related activities.

Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project requirements to determine the most suitable and cost-effective piping solutions for the factory.

5-10 years of relevant experience in designing and overseeing industrial piping systems, preferably within large-scale construction projects.

In-depth knowledge of piping design codes, standards, and practices, including ASME B31.3, API, and ASTM.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize piping designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Focus Area: Technically lead brownfield engineering only upgrade projects by organizing engineering designs and upgrade strategies

Registered P.Eng in a Canadian Province (Please submit License # & Province with application)

Develop EWRs by preparing detailed design packages including scope of work, assembly/erection procedures, welding procedures, NDT requirements, material list and sketches/drawings.

Minimum 15 years' experience in the refinery and/or NGLF industry.

At least 10 years of field experience working on major turnaround and field troubleshooting.

Thorough knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, NACE, ASTM, ISO.

Perform field troubleshooting on a daily basis or as requested.

Participate on major T&Is and emergency plant shutdowns.

Report to engineering or project management with timely updates on project performance for the assigned scopes or tasks.

Perform engineering work following SNC-Lavalin/Candu Energy Quality Assurance programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulation requirements.

General knowledge of CANDU nuclear mechanical and piping systems or equipment.

Experience in stress analysis of pressure boundary components, for deadweight, thermal, and seismic conditions is required.

Design engineering experience in nuclear piping systems is preferable.

Experience in FEA using ANSYS Mechanical APDL is required. Experience in ANSYS Workbench is an asset.
