Project Engineer- Piping- Oil & Gas / Chemical

& Skill Requirement:

' – Overall 10-15 years of experience, including 4-5 years served in Construction.

- Execute Pipeline and Facility Engineering and Design.

- LTTS face to client for FEED, Detailed Engineering and Post Engineering construction / RFI support

- Conduct and participate in 3D Model reviews to ensure Constructability and Operability of designed facility, ease of access and maintenance for the equipment, International Codes and Standards (ASME, ASTM, GP) compliance, HAZOP studies, Constructability studies

- familiar with Piping classes and different material grades

- Perform field verification, laser scan walk throughs, and constructability support

- Candidate shall be single point of contact (SPOC) for coordination of LTTS-India Team with all stakeholders on Client side (Project Management / Engineering / Procurement / Operations) – primarily for Electrical issues, but in general for all Disciplines.

- Interactions with Client to access and finalize project priorities, deadlines, challenges, constraints. Analyzing the various parameters to access impact on Project Scope, Cost and Schedule.

- Obtaining inputs from Client as well as from field as required. Expediting vendor inputs.

- Ensures smooth transition from Engineering to Site Construction and provide prompt and timely support for site issues and deviations.

- For Turn around (MOC) jobs, propose the most cost and time effective solution – including demolition.

- Conduct constructability reviews to visualize and identify Installation challenges/constraints and modify the engineering design accordingly

- In-person LTTS representation in joint design reviews conducted remotely. Participation in independent Client reviews and coordination of resolution with LTTS-India Team.

- Initiate meetings/discussions with relevant stakeholders (Client, Vendor, etc.) to expedite resolution of design issues.

- Verify feasibility of deliverables/ solutions provided by LTTS-India Team vis-à-vis actual as-built situation at site.

- Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges

Maintain and grow a working knowledge of the applicable design codes and standards including CSA Z662, ASME B31.3/4/8, ect.
