Experience with production of SLDs, area classification drawings, electrical layouts, JB wiring diagrams, motor/VFD schematics, cable schedules, EHT isometrics, etc.

Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environment

Being able to meet safety requirements to attend site visits

Experience as a design lead is an asset

Provide discipline input in the project management documentation (Design Basis Memorandum, Project Execution Plan, Project Engineering Plan, VDDR, etc.)

Walk-down field installations and provide feedback to construction management

Support Facility Engineers in the Management of Change (MOC) process – help generate Electrical scope, review and monitor design and execution

P. Eng, PL(Eng) or P.Tech (Alberta and/or BC). Tradesperson with relevant education and experience may be considered

Review Vendor or Contractor selection, quotations, drawings, and specifications for technical adequacy and conformance with project requirements

Relevant experience in front end project development required

Facilitates the necessary engineering information needed by Project Manager to submit regulatory applications.

3+ years experience in design of electrical transportation systems

Experience with street lighting and traffic signal design

AutoCAD and AGi32 software experience
