Food Production Lead Jobs

Senior to advanced level experience in an Apps Support role with commensurate experience in people management.

Experience of senior stakeholder management

Vendor relationship management including oversight for all offshore managed service.

Project management with demonstrable results in improving IT services

Participates in business review meetings, relating technology tools strategies to business requirements.

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other staff, clients and management

Minimum one (1) year experience in cooking and food preparation

Successful completion of Food Handlers Course within the past five years

Rotational shifts (nights, afternoons, and days)

General labour work in the production area

Strong detail orientation and excellent communication/listening skills

Make finished goods per product specific manufacturing instructions

Run production machinery (when applicable) to assist in the speedy packaging of our raw materials

Pull raw materials from the Work in Process area or stock rooms per our stock rotation method in preparation for packaging

Strong personal time management skills

Provide accurate status reports on assigned activities to the management team

Apply learned expertise and past experiences to assigned projects and discussions

Positive attitude and team communication skills

Experience with a variety of hand tools

Ability to assume responsibility, show initiative, and adapt to new role requirements

Excellent interpersonal communication and sales skills, with strong ability to understand, engage and persuade others

Sales or sales/advocacy-style experience a plus but not required

Coordinate the production activities and schedules in collaboration with the operations manager

Supervise the production team, assigning tasks and responsibilities

Previous experience in production or manufacturing with supervisory experience

Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing tools

Certification in Six Sigma or similar an asset

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methods

Have a good understanding and experience with Safety and Quality standards, control, and procedures.

Conduct sanitation activities, as required, to meet GMP requirements.

Experience working in a food manufacturing environment or similar.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Systematic thinker with strong organizational and problem solving skills.

Effective communication skills, with an emphasis on technical writing/reporting and verbal communication.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, team spirit, communication skills, and participative management style.

Ensure all equipment is functioning properly. (Basic maintenance skills is an asset)

High school graduate or equivalent qualification

Food manufacturing experience (a strong asset)

As Day Shift -Lead Hand, you'll be responsible for both working and helping to coordinate your primary work area.

You will also assist in ensuring targets are met and food safety protocols are followed.

·Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skills and Education:

·Assures Sanitation supply inventory levels are managed to meet targets without impeding plant objects.

·Ensuring the requirements of production are met customer orders are satisfied and production metrics are met.

·Organization and scheduling of manpower per production schedule requirements

·Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy

·5-10 years of experience in supervision

Minimum of three (3) years “hands on” mechanical and electrical experience in the areas of production line maintenance.
