Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Coordinate the production activities and schedules in collaboration with the operations manager
  • Maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process
  • Monitor stock and coordinate material needs with other departments
  • Supervise the production team, assigning tasks and responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments to meet target deadlines

Requirements

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methods
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Certification in Six Sigma or similar an asset
  • Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing with supervisory experience
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • College diploma or equivalent, degree in business or engineering
