Position Purpose

The successful candidate will support the Production Teams by making our raw materials into finished goods.

A crucial part of this job is maintaining quality standards of cleanliness and recordkeeping and interacting with co-workers and/or sales department to ensure throughput is as efficient and prudent as possible.

A positive attitude and physical fitness are critical to this role.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Run production machinery (when applicable) to assist in the speedy packaging of our raw materials
• Pull raw materials from the Work in Process area or stock rooms per our stock rotation method in preparation for packaging
• Put away received/accepted goods in the stock rooms per our stock rotation method
• Make finished goods per product specific manufacturing instructions

Additional Responsibilities

• Record all activities and weights with company-mandated record keeping system
• Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong detail orientation and excellent communication/listening skills
• Strong decision making and analytic thinking abilities
• Computer literacy and familiarity with SAP would be an asset
• Ability to pass background checks
• High school diploma at a minimum is absolutely required
• Team player
• Meet all attendance and dependability requirements
• Demonstrated passion for excellence
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• This job is in a dusty environment due to the nature of operation. You need to be comfortable with getting dirty
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds on a repetitive basis (but not all the time)

Business hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Some flexibility to these hours will be considered as needed.

Benefits

Wage starts at $18/hr with a performance review after 3 months.
