Data Management Analytics Specialist Jobs

2+ years’ experience maintaining databases, knowledge management systems or engineering change management processes required

Post-Secondary education in Data Management or related field required

Support the maintenance of data management processes to ensure compliance and consistency with applicable internal standards such as ISO

Perform non-technical checks of all documents and reports submitted for release to ensure compliance with policies and requirements.

Experience with Microsoft Office required

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and translate findings into meaningful business insights.

5+ years in digital Product management of R&D AI/ML/analytics products preferably within the R&D portfolio management domain.

Deep understanding of the R&D portfolio management business processes, data/data applications and AI/ML/Analytics trends

Ensure that Digital Products/computerized systems meet all controls to address applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements.

Experience managing or coaching multiple product teams and driving adoption of agile product development practices in a large Enterprise setting.

Hands-on experience with scientific data exploration tools and APP dev tools such as R Shiny, Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI

Expertise experience in Project Management and performance management

Experience with supporting Learning, Change Management and Communication

Create and implement change management strategies to roll out changes related to the D&A community and enable adoption

Plan Strategically and coordinate activities in the D&A community to build engagement, foster knowledge sharing, and grow capabilities

Excellent leadership skills and experience leading matrixed teams

Develop strategies to grow the D&A community skills level and advance D&A maturity through learning and engagement

Learn all document management platforms and their respective contents.

Prepare/update a reference document that lists all document management platforms and their respective contents.

Comply with Quality Procedures, Client work instructions and Processes, Grid Engineering Management Handbook (EMH).

Basic skills & desired properties:

Most suitable candidates will possess a degree in Documentation or in Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience in direct interaction with all hierarchical levels.

Five years of experience in Data Analytics and Management.

Experience working in a multi-stakeholder, global matrix management environment.

Effective management of all corporate data, including physical data management, data processing solutions, and business intelligence applications.

Five years at a senior management level.

Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of developing and leading a team.

Proven hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager.

Prior experience gathering data requirements and providing data-driven recommendations.

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to the business objectives and translate them into data requirements.

Analyze data trends, patterns, and user behavior to deliver actionable recommendations that drive business growth and optimize digital experiences.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging analytics technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improve analytical capabilities.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields.

Familiarity with research data management (RDM) and the research lifecycle - applied research experience considered an asset

Familiarity with the Canadian research landscape, including the Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy and evolving DMP requirements

Familiarity and experience with project management strategies and best practices

Experience with the development and implementation of data management plans and/or data governance in a research setting

Assist with Alliance and Tri-Agencies collaborative activities in support of the Tri-Agency RDM Policy requirements

Graduate degree and experience working in academic and research settings

Collect, consolidate, execute reliability checks of D&T data

Partner with stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities that support D&T transparency increase

Consolidate and structure data from multiple data sources into easy-to-use data visualizations & dashboards

Build dashboard to deliver impactful and actionable insights

Support end users & resolves data issues/questions

Control the database’s change management procedures as the single point of accountability for required changesand improvementsin EQuIS modules

Responsible for the incident management database for environmental scope

Background in developing, monitoring and auditing environmental data management systems

Minimum 8 years of direct work experience with process control systems, industrial automation systems and process data management

Experience with management of large time-series data sets

Excellent project management, scheduling, and time management skills

Develop, retain, and steward the strategy and roadmap for digital capability growth within the data management and analytics domains

Promote data management and data governance philosophies within the DSM organization

Deep technical understanding of DCS technologies, data historians, data infrastructure, process automation, cloud solutions, data engineering and data utilization /management

Hands-on experience in ETL and query tools including SAS, T-SQL, SSIS, "dbVisualizer" will be a plus.

Experience in Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GIT, TFS/Azure DevOps

Strong knowledge of data lifecycle for customer, account, and transactional data

Strong and effective communication skills for managing expectations with diverse groups for stakeholders
