Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of data quality rules, data dictionaries, and data lineage to support data governance and compliance requirements.

6+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst.

5+ years of experience in data quality assurance, data validation, and testing in a business intelligence or data analytics environment.

6+ years of experience in developing test plans and test cases.

6+ years of experience creating Test Plans and Test Cases using Azure DevOps or equivalent.

Strong SQL and data manipulation language skills.

Experience with testing tools such as TestRail for test case management, and Jira for issue tracking,

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand software requirements and functionality.

Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.

Provide analysis and feedback to management and appropriate departments regarding recurring problems, recommending improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences of problems

As a QA Engineer, these will be your main tasks and responsibilities:

Manage the defect’s identified during testing interacting with the ServiceNow platform team on the validation of the fixes made.

Provide quality testing effort estimates to project managers and scrum masters.

Assist the ServiceNow platform team with the creation of Agile stories based on requirements received.

Ensures that the defined QA processes meet auditing requirements

Strong knowledge of QA methodology

Hands-on experience testing custom-developed systems

Coordinate test requests from multiple stakeholders and manage test priority

QA experience with manual testing and writing automated tests

Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, React

Experience with automated testing tools

Create and document detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Track, report, and communicate bugs

This role will work on application support and testing. (Permanent role, remote in Canada)

• Work on project documentation including system flows, technical specifications, assembly of non-functional requirements.

• Accountable for gathering specifications, including documentation and providing quality assurance on the requirements

•Minimum 3 years of prior Systems Analyst, QA and Support experience

•Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.

• Experience with SAP is an asset and retail is an asset

At least 2 years of hands-on experience on any test automation scripting languages (Java/ Python/ C#, etc.).

Experience of collaborating with programmers and business experts to produce testing scenarios and scope.

5+ years of QA Experience

Experience with functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing

Knowledge of tools such as TestRail, Jira, and Postman is required

Experience with GraphQL APIs is a plus

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with solid expertise in manual testing and experience working in Scrum

Experience working with mobile applications developed in React Native and websites developed in React

Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and tools such as Postman is a plus

Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus

Extensive experience building out testing frameworks from scratch

Previous experience in a low-latency/high traffic environment

FIX Protocol/front office knowledge is a must

Proficiency in Python, Linux and databases

Hold solid understanding of manual testing
