QA Analyst – Infrastructure Jobs in Quebec

Experience with testing tools such as TestRail for test case management, and Jira for issue tracking,

Coordinate test requests from multiple stakeholders and manage test priority

QA experience with manual testing and writing automated tests

Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, React

Experience with automated testing tools

Create and document detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Track, report, and communicate bugs

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related degree

Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

2+ years’ experience in Primavera (P6) Scheduling preferred

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Providing and/or overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) for construction projects.

Developing schedules for estimates and current projects.

This role will work on application support and testing. (Permanent role, remote in Canada)

• Work on project documentation including system flows, technical specifications, assembly of non-functional requirements.

• Accountable for gathering specifications, including documentation and providing quality assurance on the requirements

•Minimum 3 years of prior Systems Analyst, QA and Support experience

•Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.

• Experience with SAP is an asset and retail is an asset

Contract management, disputes and/or asset management.

Associate: 4+ years of relevant work experience in an infrastructure related field; with relevant experiences across one or more of:

Financial analysis and modeling, and/or consideration of economic costs and benefits

Strong analytical skills and capability to provide quality deliverables with an attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for a range of audiences

Working knowledge of accounting concepts and principles (CPA not required)

Experience in the use of test management tools such as Jira, TestRail etc.

Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.

Minimum of 5 years experience as a QA Analyst or similar role.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Experience testing integrations between software solutions including validation of message content.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Strong working knowledge of a variety of endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM)

Manage the enterprise desktop environment, including firmware/software releases, system configuration and maintenance

Create, document and manage Microsoft Office for the enterprise

Seek consultation from the Supervisor, Technology Infrastructure Services or Manager, Technology Infrastructure Services where solutions are not within established practices

Experience with Windows operating system updates in an enterprise environment

Experience building desktop images using VMware virtualization platform

Experience of using test and defect management tools; enterprise and open source.

Experience of writing simple SQL queries and possesses knowledge of relational databases.

Work in Agile alongside developers and being involved in requirement validation and refining before development

At least 3 years of experience in QA roles.

At least 2 years of hands-on experience on any test automation scripting languages (Java/ Python/ C#, etc.).

Experience of collaborating with programmers and business experts to produce testing scenarios and scope.

Mentorship with experienced software developers, database administrators, and technical project managers

Minimum 2 years of QA experience with manual testing and writing automated tests

Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, React

Strong bash or other scripting skills such as shell, python, and ruby.

Experience with automated testing tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Extensive experience building out testing frameworks from scratch

Previous experience in a low-latency/high traffic environment

FIX Protocol/front office knowledge is a must

Proficiency in Python, Linux and databases

Hold solid understanding of manual automation
