MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Provide project management for BI solutions for new customer implementations

Work with external and internal customers to gather comprehensive requirements and document them formally

Good understanding and working experience of transactional and dimensional data models

Bachelor degree or above qualification preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent

A four-year degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field or the equivalent of education and related progressive experience;

Extensive knowledge and experience in using various query and scripting languages (SQL, MDX, DAX);

2-3 years proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting considered an asset;

Extensive experience with Report Writing / SQL Server queries;

Strong analytical skills, with experience in statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time/series analysis, data mining, and financial analysis.

Supports Operations with BI system self-serve capabilities and trains BI users

Minimum six (6) years of related experience

Experience with using and generating reports from Business Intelligence (BI) systems

Demonstrated experience in using and developing BI systems, including report and dashboard development.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build positive, productive interpersonal relationships with stakeholders

Ability to explain technical concepts to the business and management. Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical resources

Participate in Inner/Outer Loops to share thematic feedback from customers and drive out significant actions to enhance customer experience

Analyze large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions.

Two (2) years of previous experience in programming, analyzing large complex databases and/or project management is required;

Successful completion of a three-year community college diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field;

University degree or college diploma in computer science, data management or related field

Knowledge of the interRAI suite of tools and experience with the HCCSS Client Health and Related Information System (CHRIS) an asset.

Participates in quality assurance/software testing of provincial initiatives to ensure the solution meets the identified requirements.
