Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join an exceptional private clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment. As an X-Ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals in interpreting X-ray images and determining diagnoses.
• Maintain patient safety by adhering to radiation protection standards, including the use of protective lead shields and appropriate exposure settings.
• Prepare and position patients for X-ray imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
• Ensure that all X-ray equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and examination results in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in radiology and X-ray technology, participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Operate X-ray equipment to produce clear and accurate diagnostic images, following established protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of X-ray equipment, radiation safety, and imaging procedures.
• State licensure as an X-Ray Technician, where applicable.
• Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist CAMRT
