We are seeking a DTC Specialist to join our Ontario Direct to Consumer team. Reporting into the DTC Manager, the DTC Specialist will be responsible for driving sales of wine and wine related products and facilitating a positive ongoing relationship with Direct to Consumer and Wine Club customers. Hybrid work environment (in office - as needed & from home).


We Are Looking For a Teammate With


  • Excellent communication skills; congenial, pleasant, tactful and able to maintain composure under stressful conditions
  • Criminal Record Check as per the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirement 12.7
  • Strong sales ability; experience in Retail/Wine store sales providing best-in-class service for consumers
  • Call center, or similar environment, experience an asset
  • Ability to exercise judgement and function independently
  • Exceptional technology and computer skills and knowledge
  • Adapt at complaint resolution and autonomous decision making within set parameters


Driving Revenue


This teammate will be accountable for:


  • Defends efficiencies and margin by maximizing billable clubs through diligent communication to minimize card failures and maximize billable memberships and orders.
  • Looks for and creates opportunities to drive revenue growth by pairing wine club members and customers with products and services that delight.


Best In Class Experience


  • Builds relationships with wine club members and APL customers via telephone, email, mail, website and personal contact at member exclusive events.
  • Accurate, prompt and comprehensive response to customer needs.


Administration


  • Receives high volumes of inbound calls (Talkdesk) and cases.
  • Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions/ hazards to their reporting Manager.
  • Maintains wine club member and customer accounts/orders through various systems such as Magento, Oracle and Salesforce (CRM).
