We have an amazing opportunity in Delta with a company who is well established in the industry.
We are looking for a warehouse supervisor who is motivated, possessing strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage union workers, and maintains a safe working environment.
The Warehouse Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining the company's high standards of productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction; managing a team of union employees and ensuring efficient and compliant warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
What will you need to do:
  • Coordinate shipping receiving, inventory management
  • Maintain inventory integrity and coordinate with departments to achieve production standards and branch goals.
  • Investigate incidents and respond to all warehouse queries
  • Promote the healthy and safety program and ensure adherence to the health and safety guidelines
  • Ensure materials are processed, picked, and packaged accurately according to customer expectations.
  • Assist in training and orientation of new employees while developing and maintaining positive employee and labor relations.
  • Supervise and manage the work assignments of warehouse staff
  • Coordinate trucking schedule and ensure timely loading/unloading of outbound and inbound trucks.
  • Maximize equipment uptime, productivity, and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are in good condition and that the vehicle and equipment log books are reviewed
Qualifications
What you bring:
  • Able to build strong relationships
  • Strong and transparent communicator
  • Intermediate level of computer skills
  • Proven experience leading, supervising, and directing employees in a unionized environment.
  • Forklift experience
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience related to employee and workplace safety, including hazard recognition, accident investigation, and adherence to safety rules.
  • Willingness to assume a leadership role on the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee.
