Our Crown Corporation client is seeking a VP of Procurement. In this role you will be responsible for all Procurement and contract management activities.

The VP Of Procurement’s Duties Will Include

• Leading the delivery of procurement services and providing strategic direction on contract management and delivery
• Overseeing the operational financial management of the organization relating to administration, policies, processes, procedures, systems and practices
• Other, relevant duties as required
• Contributing to business management and resource planning across the organization
• Managing and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies
• Supporting and applying policies and best practices relating to information security
• Providing leadership and contributing to human resources, operational and corporate planning

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• At least 15 years of experience in contract management
• Post-secondary education in engineering, architecture, construction, or a similar field
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar, leadership role
• Experience leading large, complex infrastructure projects
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Fluent French/English bilingualism
• Relevant, professional designation (SCMP or equivalent)
