Art & Water is seeking volunteers to assist with audience engagement at our Dockside concert series on the waterfront!

May 20-Sept 4th

Thurs/Fri at 585 Queen’s Quay West from 6-9pm

or

Saturdays and Sundays 1 Queen’s Quay East 1-4pm

*a third location may be added.

We will prioritize those with weekly/consistent availability, but please reach out and let us know your availability during these months and times.

Example:

June: Fridays only

Every other saturday all summer

ABOUT ART & WATER

Art & Water is a registered not-for-profit multidisciplinary arts and cultural organization!

We aim to empower artists and audiences to reconnect, outdoors, in a safe & public environment. Our dockside venue provides space for ticketed seating, and free seating in the adjacent park.

We envision dockside dance, theatre, comedy & live painting performances. An Art & Cruise concept series bringing those eventsonto the watervia a boat cruise, providing a unique ticketed experience and revenue-generating opportunity for artists.

ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER POSITION

We are seeking social, personable and engaging individuals to assist with audience engagement at our dockside events. The volunteer team will be responsible for communicating with patrons, passerbys and the general public to determine some data points via audience surveys required by our financial supporters.

For example:

• Ask if it’s their first time at the dock;
• Inquire when was the last concert they went to.
• Ask postal codes for how far they came from;
• Conduct the number of person in attendance;

Our volunteer team will also inform and invite patrons to financially support our organization by making a donation.
