Position Overview

You will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. This individual should enjoy crafting digital experiences and be passionate about the details. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of design tools to create useful, engaging, and intuitive interfaces that will delight our students while helping them accomplish their goals. As a UI Designer, you will work closely with product managers, UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences and improve the look and feel of our products.

Key Duties:

• Ensuring that all designs are visually appealing, effective, and consistent with brand guidelines and standards.
• Working closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and meet user needs.
• Conducting usability testing to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Providing design support to other teams or departments within the organization as needed.
• Creatingwireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conducting design reviews and critiques to provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Designing visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
• Participating in ideation and brainstorming sessions.
• Communicating design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Designing user interactions: Determining how users will interact with the product, including navigation, button interactions, and task completion.
• Developing design concepts: Creating design concepts and prototypes based on user requirements using Figma.
• Confidentiality:This role will have access to conversion data, analytics, and processes and is responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of the information.
• Creating visual designs: Creating detailed visual designs that showcase how the product will look and feel using Figma.
• Conducting user testing:Testing your design with users to ensure it meets their needs and is intuitive to use.
• Gathering and analyzing user requirements: Working with stakeholders to understand user needs and translating them into design requirements.
• Collaborating with other teams: Working closely with other designers, developers, and product managers to ensure design consistency and feasibility. Providing detailed documentation to the development teams.
• Staying up-to-date with design trends.

Key Qualifications:

Knowledge/Education/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, visual design, graphic design, or experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).
• A design degree or certificate is a plus, but not required.
• Compelling portfolio of work demonstrating experience in UI/UX or visual design.
• Proficient knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.

Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes

• Proven ability to produce high-quality UI/UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and interactive prototypes.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, and Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
